Our Programs

Each program is custom made to work with your dog’s temperament and the ability and motivation of the owner. It makes no sense to come up with one particular style that neither the dog or owner agree with, but rather we try to find a happy medium where communication and behavior improvement occur naturally.

Real K9 Solutions, what makes us different

We look at dog training as an easy solution. Quite often though, lack of time, no direction or poor communication tend to complicate the issues. This can lead to poor behavior from your dog or misunderstanding between the dog and client.

That’s where we come in. We pride ourselves on the fact that when we work with a client/dog team, it is always in the home or problem areas. There is nothing more successful than addressing the problem where it lies.

Our 1 on 1 training style is geared towards developing and building a strong foundation of understanding, obedience, communication, and motivation. We want your relationship with your dog to be foundationally sound enough that your dog clearly understands boundaries, personal space, family dynamics and the difference between right and wrong.

Our experience is unmatched
Besides our private business we have the experience of working as a Dog handler in the U.S. Marines, Guide dog Instructor at The Seeing Eye and Guide Dog Foundation, Service Dog Instructor for Paws With A Cause and America’s Vetdogs.  Our experience was not paid for but rather earned based on merit. These organizations are highly selective of the people they select for their training programs. We are proud of our accomplishments and are eager to help.

Lets get started

Next steps
A majority of  clients that we work with tend to start out with 1 on 1 lessons in the home. We have found this to be highly successful as it gives the owner the opportunity to work through any issues and learn how to train their dog.  We additionally have a latch key in home program and a board and train program.  We try to be very flexible as schedules and time constraints at times interfere with training, we recognize this and are able to modify training programs. The most important component to this is that the dog and owner received the best instruction possible.

Our area of service
We have recently relocated to the Columbus area from the east coast. We are excited to be in a central location and are able to work in Columbus and the surrounding area’s
